Nordnet has launched an innovative new system for insurance distribution to enhance the efficiency in their advisory process and to facilitate compliance with the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD). Sharpfin AB – a Stockholm-based fintech company that develops state-of-the-art advisory support and portfolio management systems for asset managers, insurance distributors and banks – delivers the new system.
“With Sharpfin, we take a major step forward in the digitalization of our advisory process. Sharpfin enables digital search and quality assurance of the advisory documentation that is created”, says Martin Ringberg, Country Manager Sweden
The solution is based upon the Sharpfin Advisory module, which enables Nordnet advisors to build their own digital advisory forms. For every advisory situation, the forms display only the relevant information to the customer and client advisor. When finalizing the advisory process, an electronic document with Nordnet’s graphic design is created and can be handed to the customer or sent for digital signature.
”With Nordnet, we have taken the development of our advisory module one step further, and we now offer a product which is highly relevant for both insurance and financial advisors”, says Markus Alin, Sharpfin’s CEO. “Our goal is to streamline processes so that tedious administrative work disappears and compliance with regulations such as IDD and MiFID II is significantly simplified.”
Since 3Q 2018 cooperation between Sharpfin and Nordnet has progressed. And with this delivery, Nordnet’s ambition to be the leading digital bank in the Nordic countries has been strengthened.
”The ability to customize the individual advisory flows while having a full audit trail of all previous revisions is greatly appreciated by our professionals”, concludes Martin Ringberg.
